We started with a simple belief: that access to good books can change how people think, grow, and see the world. At a time when reading often competes with everything else, we chose to create a place where books feel alive again on our shelves, in conversations, and in the community around us.
Based in Abuja, Spine & Label serves a wide range of readers from children picking up their first storybooks, to young adults exploring new ideas, to professionals, parents, and lifelong readers building their personal libraries. Our collection is carefully curated to reflect both global voices and strong African storytelling, with a special focus on Nigerian authors.
But what truly defines us is not just what we sell it’s what we build.
We host book readings, conversations, school engagements, and quiet reading spaces where people can slow down and reconnect with books. Our stores are designed to feel welcoming, calm, and thoughtful places where you can browse without pressure, sit with a book, and feel part of something.
